Research Interests
I love cities. I am particularly drawn to cities that are vibrant, sustainable, compact, walkable, transit-oriented and that offer whismy and interesting experiences around the corner. My interests really took flight as an undergraduate student - and since then I've been working to stregthen Canadian urbanism through practice, research, teaching and related opportunities.
My research interests centre around the interrelated topics of urban sustainability, urban sprawl, growth management, intensification, and downtown revitalization. I primarily ground these topics within the context of mid-sized Canadian cities.
Potential graduate students who share similar interests are encouraged to reach out.
